Description
The special rubber blend used for the SWING footpocket combines the elastic properties of natural rubber with the endurance of synthetic rubber. The result is a material characterised by the same density of the water, that means that the footpocket is neutral into the water (no weight into the water).
The new SWING footpcokets produced by CETMA COMPOSITES is characterised by a higher portion of the blade under the feet (if used with CETMA COMPOSITES blades), in fact the feet are completely supported by the blade up to the heel. The portion of the blade under the feet is 60% longer than other commercially available blades. This feature increases both comfort and performance.
As for the sky-boots, the SWING footpockets have some stiffening ribs all over the foot surface (from the tip up to the heel). These ribs otimise the load transfer applied by the user, without the load loss due to the rubber deformation.
The sole of the new SWING footpocket is characterised by high stiffness, in order to avoid sole deformation during the finning. According to comparative studies, this feature can increase the efficiency of the blade up to the 30%. This feature allows also to use the SWING footpockets with other commercially available blades.
The new SWING footpocket was designed with two vertical stabilizers, that avoid the lateral shift during finning and in the same time help to channel the water flux.
The front of the SWING footpocket was designed with U-shape section in order to make the fin more stable avoiding the twisting during the finning.
The new SWING footpocket was designed to maximise the comfort. The footpocket is manufactured in 7 sizes, from 35 up to 48. Moreover the fotpocket can be thermoformed, so it is possible to create the footpocket with custom size.
